        On 05 November 2011 the first subbotnik (voluntary unpaid work) took place, aiming at cleaning of the St. Aleksey church territory. The Mayor’s Office of Cosnita, to which administratively belongs the Pohrebea village, provided a tractor to facilitate the cleaning works. The mayor Mr. Leshanu and the deputy mayor Mr. Terentyev merit special gratitude. Both officials, together with the Pohrebea dwellers and the other enthusiasts of the St. Aleksey church restoration, have actively worked during subbotnik. As known, after the road works, which were carried out in spring, the territory around the church was strongly littered, because the road workers have used it for storing the construction materials. Now the picture has significantly changed!  At present the area in front of the church looks more tidily. Many thanks to all those people, who took part in subbotnik!
